I’m not kidding. We have victory within our grasp. And all you have to do to assure a Republican victory is show up to vote. This election is too important to sit out and let others carry the load. America’s future as a free country is at stake.

Now I know that many of you don’t like John McCain. I was one too who said I would never vote for McCain, but it is what it is and we have no other viable choice. The horrors of electing Barack Obama are unthinkable to any rational thinking American. This election comes down to two choices: American freedom, liberty, and capitalism; or Marxist socialism in America.

You Libertarians must know by now that Bob Barr has no chance of winning this battle, and your vote for Barr will only give more advantage to Barack Obama. This is a choice our country simply cannot afford, and this is not the time to protest against the Republican party. The stakes are just way too high right now.

If we didn’t have so much at stake with the candidacy of Marxist Barack Obama, I too would consider voting for Barr. Unfortunately, we cannot afford the luxury of a protest vote right now, none of us can. Please wait until 2012 and see what our options are then.

It’s too late now to try to convince people of the character and Marxist agenda of Barack Obama. We’ve all read about his radical associations with people like Frank Marshall Davis, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, Joelle Fishman, Mazen Asbahi, Rashid Khalidi, and other anti-American radicals who have built Barack Obama’s political career.

We all know that in spite of lawsuits filed in 8 different states challenging Barack Obama to produce a valid birth certificate to show that he is truly an American citizen and qualified to be president as per the Constitution, he has been unable to do so. Instead, he has spared no effort to conceal and seal his citizenship records from public view, and instead, produced on the internet, two false documents:

One was a State of Hawaii “Certificate of Live Birth“ which was proven to be a forgery, uncertified, with the state seal missing, the certificate number blacked out, and the wrong form altogether for the year in which Obama was born. (Should have been white lettering on black background, not black lettering on green background.)

The second document he tried to fool the public with was an altered copy of his sister’s birth certificate with the name and date changed. Again, he has thwarted all attempts to get him to show that he is an American citizen and constitutionally qualified to serve as president.

As Raymond S. Kraft so eloquently points out in his recent article The Great Obama Swindle of 2008,” by his actions, Obama has virtually admitted that he is not an American citizen. Yet, this historic fraud perpetrated on the American people has received little or no coverage in the mainstream media in spite of at least 8 lawsuits filed against him and the Democratic party over the deception.

CNN did a brief report, laughing it off as a hoax, and citing the Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth posted on the Annenberg Foundation’s “FactCheck.org” website as proof. By airing this report, CNN is complicit in perpetrating this swindle which will result in an unprecedented Constitutional crisis if Obama should be elected to POTUS.

Obama’s recent trip to Hawaii to visit his ailing grandmother resulted in the Governor of Hawaii ordering his state records to be sealed until after the election. There is no word as to whether he ever did see his grandmother.

Obama’s college records would also show his citizenship, but he has had those records sealed as well. It has also been reported by Jerome Corsi and Philip Berg that Obama’s records in Kenya have also been sealed until after the election.

Why would Barack Obama even have any records in Kenya unless he was born there? He has never lived there and only visited once or twice to visit his Kenyan family, and to campaign for Raila Odinga. If his fraudulent candidacy should be successful and he should win this election, he will never be accepted as the President of the United States by half of the population, and he will always be considered a dishonest fraud and a constitutional disaster for the country.

But let’s get back to our immediate challenge. Election officials are predicting a 50% voter turnout on November 4^th. That means that we have a huge resource of voters whom officials aren’t expecting to show up at the polls. All we have to do is show up and cast our votes. This election will be decided by voter turnout and nothing more. If only 50% of Democrats turn out, we only need 60% of Republicans to vote and it’s in the bag. The country is saved.

McCain/Palin will need to get a substantially larger number of votes than Obama/Biden just to offset the illegal votes that Democrats will be casting with their massive voter fraud campaign by Acorn and other leftist groups. We have to show them that their illegal and corrupt election practices will not succeed in America.

In this last week before the election, the polls are starting to pull away from their liberal bias and are moving closer to reality. For months, the media has been lying to the public about election polling in their attempt to discourage Republicans from turning out to vote. Media outlets contract with pollsters and tell them what result they want to see, the pollsters comply to satisfy their customers.

With the election less than a week away, pollsters are now in a competition to see who can come the closest to the actual election results. This will have a big effect on the credibility of pollsters in the next election, and the credibility of the news outlets that use those polls. At the end of the race, pollsters and news media don’t want to be shown to be as wrong as they have been throughout the campaigns.

Today, Wednesday, 6 days before the election, 4 of the major polls, Rasmussen; Gallup; Investors Business Daily; and Battleground are now showing McCain well within the margin of error in a dead heat with Obama. As we get closer to election day, others will follow and it’s entirely likely that some will even show McCain leading. But what if they don’t, and McCain wins anyway just as George Bush did against John Kerry?

This will not be acceptable to the leftists who are by now thoroughly convinced by the media that Obama will win the election. And this year, media bias has been more obvious and aggressive than ever before in history. If Obama loses the election, Democrats will cry racism and blacks are likely to take to the streets in riots, thinking they have been somehow cheated out of their black Messiah.

Will they blame the media for misleading them? Of course not. They will blame Republicans with charges of voter fraud and disenfranchisement. It’s going to be messy, and there will, no doubt, be plenty of legal challenges in the courts. The country will be tied up in knots until January 20, 2009 when the new president is sworn into office.

This is what the media will have caused by not telling the truth about Barack Obama and the voters’ choices. After the election, the mainstream media needs to be held accountable for the consequences of civil unrest that will ensue.

Americans citizens will really need to rethink their sources of news and the credibility of the newspapers and the alphabet networks, especially when it comes to political reporting. We cannot continue to put up with being misled and lied to by a news media whose job it is to report the news, not ignore and distort it.

Many Democrats are so convinced by now that their candidate will have an easy win that they see no need to get to the polls and vote. Many fraudulent voter registrations that the pollsters include to weight the polls will not show up to vote.

In other cases, many Democrats are not enthused by Barack Obama and will not show up to vote. Many will be just as content with John McCain in the White House. In fact, many of them intend to vote for John McCain.

Keep in mind that the next president will likely be nominating up to 3 Supreme Court justices. If Obama makes those nominations, and a Democrat Congress consents, our Constitution will be trampled upon for at least a generation to come. Liberal socialists, Marxists, and Communists will have exactly what they have been working for over the past 60 years. Conservatives will have no rights at all.

To assure that our country does not suffer under Marxism for at least the next four years, maybe a generation, it is vitally important that all Republicans, (and Libertarians who see the uselessness in voting for the Libertarian candidate), turn out on November 4^th and cast your vote for John McCain.

Every vote counts and we’re going to need every vote we can get. McCain must win by a substantial margin to avoid an ugly post election disaster for the country. We can do it. It is the patriotic duty of every Republican to get out and vote this year. The entire future of our country’s survival as America is at stake.

It took six weeks for Barack Obama to admit he was a bit flippant about his answer about when human life actually begins. Now only days away from the general election has his answer changed at all?

Obviously it is not a question Barack Obama likes to deal with and no one can force him to do so but that says nothing about the fact that upwards of 150 million Americans still believe the question is critical.

Obama has spent 600 million dollars of his party’s campaign chest for a job that pays $400,000 annually with a $50,000 expense account attached. A few CEOs and top execs may get more than the president but none of them had to spend 600 million to get the job.

All totaled if Obama wins it will cost America $6,450,000 to get him into the oval office and keep him there for one year. Some of us think that should be enough expenditure and pay to ask and expect an answer to the aforementioned query. Yes, it is within Sen. Obama’s pay grade.

The question was made to go away in most of the debates or it was downplayed. But does this question actually go anywhere. It should go directly to the conscience of every American who has two ears and a brain and of course; a heart.

Recently Mexican actor and producer Eduardo Verastegui released a video and a message on the internet that is perhaps the most candid and horror filled view of the results of an actual abortion. The video is followed by Verastegui’s impassioned plea for Americans to consider what it is they are doing. He is not reticent to use terms like holocaust in his argument.

Can we actually say that something that is law has created a holocaust? It was a law in Germany to slaughter every Jew that could be rounded up across the German nation and all of the lands Hitler had conquered! No one thinks that justified the horror of the holocaust.

Since its inception in 1973 Roe v Wade has now surpassed the combined total of the world’s three worst genocides in modern history and that in this nation alone. Joseph Stalin 30 million, Hitler 6 million. All remaining combined genocides since total about 5 million deaths.

The grand total of genocidal driven deaths for the past two generations world wide then is 41 million people. Roe v Wade has claimed 50,000,000 in this nation alone since 1973. Can anyone regardless of pay grade answer this question? Shouldn’t the question be, is there anyone who would dare not to answer this question!

Can America waltz off to the polls and never consider this question. Can a nation suspend, or supplant the question with concerns over stock markets, taxes and mortgages. Sadly it seems the answer is yes.

Yet, the national answer will eventually be followed by a carefully placed ‘no’ in the fiber, the economy and the standing of this nation in the world.

World renowned preacher Dr. R. G. Lee preached a sermon entitled “Payday Someday” to thousands of audiences around the world. The sermon wasn’t based on some high Barthian theological treatise but on a single piece of scripture spoken by the Apostle Paul that applies to an individual or an entire nation. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)

The question of when life begins is not above the pay grade of any American. The question can be deferred but never denied. If it should be set aside for now, one question already answered is that there is a “payday someday.”

Boots Alleged Conservative Reporters Off His Campaign Plane

Barack Obama’s campaign has ejected reporters working for three newspapers from its traveling plane in the final days of the election, drawing fire from conservatives who see a pattern: all three media organizations endorsed John McCain.

According to WABC Radio’s host Mark Levin, a former chief of staff in Ronald Reagan’s Justice Department, Obama has said he was not happy with the constraints of the US Constitution. In an audio tape of an interview, Obama questions the validity of the US Constitution when it comes to government programs.

“Levin apparently is correct — Obama has no regard for the First Amendment,” said political strategist Mike Baker.

“I’ve read about incidents where the Obama thug-squad threatened radio station and television news directors if they aired any negative Obama news stories,” said Baker.

Levin, who also heads the Landmark Legal Foundation, believes an Obama Administration coupled with a Democrat-dominated congress and senate will ignore the US Constitution in order to further their socialist goals.

Reporters from the Washington Times, the Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post, and the Dallas Morning News were told last night that space had run out on Obama’s plane for his final campaign swing.

The conservative-leaning Drudge Report website fueled the story today by suggesting that the newspapers were frozen out because their editorial pages have endorsed McCain. The Washington Times added to the controversy by publishing a story criticizing its exclusion.

“This feels like the journalistic equivalent of redistributing the wealth,” Times executive editor John Solomon said — echoing the McCain camp’s recent attacks on Obama for suggesting that tax policy should help “share the wealth.”

“[W]e spent hundreds of thousands of dollars covering Senator Obama’s campaign, traveling on his plane, and taking our turn in the reporter’s pool,” Solomon added, “only to have our seat given away to someone else in the last days of the campaign.”

Although the Times and Post are considered conservative media outlets, the US press traditionally maintains strict separation between editorials and news coverage. In an email quoted by the Times, the Obama camp said the exclusion of the three newspapers was prompted by dwindling space, not ideology.

“Unfortunately, demand for seats on the plane during this final weekend has far exceeded supply,” Anita Dunn, a senior Obama adviser, wrote.

“This means we’ve had to make hard, and unpleasant for all concerned, decisions about limiting some news organizations and in some cases not being in a position to offer space to news organizations altogether.”

The McCain campaign has had its own share of controversial ejection from its traveling media corps this year. Joe Klein of Time magazine and Maureen Dowd of the New York Times, both liberal-leaning columnists, have been barred from the McCain press circuit after publishing articles critical of the Republican nominee.

He’s former chief at a New York City housing project in Washington Heights nicknamed “Crack City” by reporters covering the drug war in the 1980s. In the Chicago Sun-Times on October 29, Andrew Greeley said that Barack Obama simply cannot beat racism to become president of the United States. He’s consumed by all the talk of racism during this campaign and he sees it everywhere he turns. Of course, Greeley is right. There is a lot of talk of racism. But he isn’t right about where it’s coming from. You see, Greeley is claiming that racism is the sole reason that anyone wouldn’t support Obama and he worries that racist talk is coming in torrents from Obama’s opponents. The truth is, though, that the only people talking about racism is Obama and his most earnest supporters. People like Greeley.

Greeley and Obama’s other supporters claim that anyone that opposes Obama is a racist. But the reality is that Obama’s opponents are not talking much of or worried about the fact that Barack Obama is a black man. Obama’s supporters, however, are acting just like the worst example of a McCarthyite in the respect that they see “racists” under their bed at night, around every corner, and in every dark closet. Greeley and his ilk see racists lurking everywhere… whether they exist or not.

In fact, in his fevered imagination, Greeley thinks that racists fill both parties and that they had marked Obama for destruction at the very outset saying that, “his rivals perceived that they had to destroy him.” He marks the early battleground as the “haters on the Internet” and then claims that the Democrat Party itself took up the anti-Obama bigotry.

The next assault came from his fellow Democrats. He was too quick, too disciplined, too well-organized to disappear as he should have. Therefore the litany of contempt began. He lacked experience. He was not ready to be commander in chief. No one knew how he would act in time of crisis. He needed more seasoning. Others had worked for similar causes in the heat of the day. They were entitled. All he had ever done was give one good talk.

But, do you notice something odd abut the anti-Obama arguments that Greeley lists as coming from his own Party? Did you notice that not one of those reasons are race-based complaints? Inexperience is not inherently a racist charge. Neither is the “unknown” of how Obama will “act in time of crisis.” Neither is the charge that Obama jumped ahead of the line of people patiently waiting for the Democratic nod and that had been around longer than he.

Greeley also lists what he thinks were the Republican’s reasons for being anti-Obama.

If his opponent was going to do him in, he would have to attack Sen. Obama’s character, a favorite strategy of Republicans for the last 20 years. He was a celebrity, as shallow as the pop tarts. His eloquence was phony. He was an extreme liberal, he was a socialist, he was a terrorist. He was a threat to the American way of life, he was not like the rest of us. He was not a patriotic American. In a time of crisis the country needed a proven, patriotic American.

Yet, again, Greeley seems to insist that this is all because of racism. In fact, one finds that few of the many negatives that Greeley claims folks heaped upon Obama are examples of obvious racism.

Yet, strangely, every single substantive reason that anyone would use to oppose Obama is ascribed firmly to racist intent as far as Greeley is concerned. Here’s how Greeley sums up what he feels is the real intent behind each of the reasons he presented:

In other words, he faced the same race card that President Nixon played in 1972, only the card had another name now — “experienced, patriotic, American.”

So, every single reason offered to oppose Obama by Whites, Republicans, Hispanics, Democrats, women, men… they are ALL really mere racist epithets in disguise?

This is astonishing for its utter lack of reasoned reflection. Certainly there was opposition to Obama inside and outside the Democrat Party and, as to be expected, from the GOP. But, it obviously wasn’t insurmountable and it was never based on race. There has been no real out-cry about Obama’s race in any venue, in any debate, in any advertisement, in any legitimate political opposition.

Still, Greeley sees racism everywhere. He is fixated on it, fascinated by it. He is consumed by it as brilliantly as the light of all the suns in the universe. There is a medical word that describes someone who sees things that aren’t there. You know what that word is, I’m sure.

Have you ever wondered about “community organizing” and the swarming “get out the vote” goon squads that the Left increasingly mobilizes for presidential elections? ACORN is one of the largest of these entities and has an extensive and long history with Barack Obama. It is one of the central players in the massive Democratic voter registration drives you’ve been hearing about over the last few months. 

What we are beginning to learn is that it is little more than a massive exercise in voter fraud and mischief of all kinds. Dead Indians and illegal aliens have long been a significant Democratic voting base in certain parts of the country but now that concept of electoral fraud has spread throughout the nation. 

 

CLEVELAND – A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in apparent violation of Ohio laws.

 

The best part of that post was the quote “in apparent violation of Ohio law” for someone registering to vote 72 times. We wouldn’t actually want to call that illegal now would we? What a bold reporter. We wouldn’t want to somehow taint such a wonderful organization as Acorn that is working so hard to assure the election of Barack Obama.

That’s just this year. In 2004, four Acorn employees were indicted in Ohio for submitting false voter registrations. In 2005, two Colorado Acorn workers were found to have submitted false registrations. Four Acorn Missouri employees were indicted in 2006; five were found guilty in Washington state in 2007 for filling out registration forms with names from a phone book.

Which brings us to Mr. Obama, who got his start as a Chicago “community organizer” at Acorn’s side. In 1992 he led voter registration efforts as the director of Project Vote, which included Acorn. This past November, he lauded Acorn’s leaders for being “smack dab in the middle” of that effort. Mr. Obama also served as a lawyer for Acorn in 1995, in a case against Illinois to increase access to the polls.

During his tenure on the board of Chicago’s Woods Fund, that body funneled more than $200,000 to Acorn. More recently, the Obama campaign paid $832,000 to an Acorn affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission this money was for “staging, sound, lighting.” It later admitted the cash was to get out the vote.

In response to the Las Vegas raid, Republican Nevada Sen. John Ensign and seven other senators penned a letter to the Federal Housing Finance Agency calling for the suspension of taxpayer dollars to “controversial groups like ACORN.” The letter referred to contributions that potentially could come from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. 

In 2006, ACORN also committed what Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed called the “worse case of election fraud” in the state’s history. 

In the case, ACORN submitted just over 1,800 new voter registration forms, and all but six of the 1,800 names were fake. 

More recently, 27,000 registrations handled by the group from January to July 2008 “went into limbo because they were incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent,” said James Terry, chief public advocate at the Consumers Rights League.

…The complaint followed an article on the conservative Web site Newsmax.com that highlighted thousands of dollars in contributions, made in increments of $25 dating back to March, from “Good Will” in Austin, Tex., who listed his employer as “Loving” and his occupation as “You,” as well as thousands in small contributions that started last November from a “Doodad Pro” in Nunda, N.Y., with the same employer and occupation.

He does not transcend race. He does not transcend politics. He does not transcend anything. He climbed the ranks of Chicago, which does not happen ethically.

He was a community organizer. So are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. This is not about race. It is about corruption. Community Organizers are agitators. They are rabble rousers. This is how Obama ended up knee deep in ACORN. They are sympatico in their belief that community organizing, regardless of the law, is fair game.

I live in Illinois, just outside of Chicago. I live in the state that incubated the political career of Barack Obama and for that, as a resident of the State of Illinois and a conservative, I apologize. But this puts me in a unique position to afford you a glimpse of things to come for our nation should Barack Obama attain the Oval Office, and especially if Democrats maintain or increase their control in Congress. I present to the citizens of the United States the State of Illinois; a working model that illustrates the consequences of a government run by the Progressive-Left.

In 2003, five short years ago, the State of Illinois went blue; not light blue or royal blue but Daley Machine, Chicago Democrat, Progressive-Left cobalt blue. For decades our state existed in a symbiotic political state; the Daley Machine Chicago Democrats controlling Cook County and most of the lesser “urban areas” and the Illinois GOP holding sway in the collar counties and rural areas. But the failure (and I believe cowardice) of Republican Governor George Ryan to take one for the party by stepping down before he was convicted of corruption, ushered in a dark era of Progressive-Left, Democrat political control in Illinois. Democrats now hold all statewide offices and control both houses of the legislature. This being said, everything that has happened since 2003 is attributable to Democrat and Progressive-Left action and leadership.

The governor of the State of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, has an approval rating of 4 percent. Rasmussen Reports ranks Blagojevich as the country’s least popular governor. He is embroiled in the Tony Rezko/Stuart Levine corruption probe. Levine pled guilty and Rezko was convicted for scheming to obtain kickbacks from investment firms seeking business from two state boards. The governor’s wife, Patricia, was a business partner of Rezko. Of course, we know the name Tony Rezko from his shady relationship with Barack Obama.

Under Blagojevich, the state’s unfunded pension debt is the largest in the United States. In 2005 that amounted to $35 billion. But that didn’t stop Blagojevich from raiding the State University Pension System to the tune of $1.2 billion in order to “balance the budget,” something that still eludes the governor. Additionally, Blagojevich raised licensing fees on auto dealers almost 20-fold, required small businesses to print all of their own forms when filing state paperwork and proposed raising the fee for the Illinois Firearm Owners Identification Card from $50 to $500. He said the increased FOID fee, “…was necessary so people would think twice about wanting to own a gun.” Of course, it also put the ability to purchase a gun – to defend oneself with a legally purchased firearm – out of range for many middle and lower-middle income families, the Second Amendment be damned.

Because of the ever expanding entitlement mentality possessed by the Chicago City Council, Chicago now has a $420 million budget deficit for the year and the highest sales tax in the United States at 9 percent. The sales tax is causing Chicago residents to flee to the suburbs to buy big ticket items, thus decreasing the tax revenue earmarked for the city. The $420 million budget deficit – hot on the heels of a 2006 $217 million budget deficit – has caused Mayor Richard M. Daley to institute mandatory furlough days for non-critical, union, city employees, as well as numerous other gimmicks to generate revenue. Shedding surplus entitlement programs and/or trimming the budget of unnecessary programs or agencies would make too much sense.

The City of Chicago, being the caring, diverse, tolerant, progressive city that it is, has achieved a rare distinction among American cities: Chicago is the new murder capitol of the United States. Chicago has experienced 426 homicides this year to date. This compares to 417 in New York City and 302 in Los Angeles, California (both of those cities have Progressive-Left friendly mayors and city councils as well). In fact, Chicago is home to a number of fine, upstanding young Progressive citizens in the form of a plethora of street gangs. From the Latin Kings to the Gangster Disciples, the Insane Deuces to the Insane Gangster Satan Disciples, street gangs that deal drugs, enforce protection schemes and offer a culture of fast-living, easy money and early death reign in Chicago’s neighborhoods. Meanwhile, owning a handgun in Chicago is forbidden and Mayor Daley has shamefully used the murder of a young child to call for a complete ban on civilian owned firearms, usurping the Second Amendment of the US Constitution. Incidentally, the Chicago City Council has also passed a resolution that makes Chicago a “nuclear weapon free zone,” so we’ve got that going for us.

Chicago’s education system is also a jewel. Chicago’s Board of Education pats itself on the back for achieving a 51 percent graduation rate, while sending “graduates” to institutions of higher learning whose proficiency in reading, writing, math and science is arguably insufficient. In fact, an inordinate number of Chicago Public School graduates must take rudimentary classes in math and English in order to be fully accepted to College or University. Violence, including gang related shootings, is not unheard of in the schools of Chicago. In fact, there are special police that are assigned to schools throughout the city and metal detectors adorn many a school’s doors.

To be fair, this disturbing reality is more the result of union interference in matters of curriculum creation, teacher quality and classroom instruction and special interest group and civil rights organization influence and interference – along with parental apathy – than it is anything else. Chicago Public School Chief Executive Officer Arne Duncan has made an admirable attempt to maximize the learning experience for Chicago’s students and teachers alike in the face of special interest tyranny, even if he has had to do so with one hand tied behind his back, the other under the critical and political eye of Mayor Daley.

And as Chicago, the city, becomes inebriated in decay, Mayor Daley and the Cook County Board are feverishly trying to salvage their entitlement-based regimes by capitalizing on the process of “community rehabilitation” – the exportation of residents who previously lived in “undesirable,” non-revenue generating “affordable housing” to the collar counties and suburbs. As old high-rise “affordable housing” units are destroyed to make way for the tax-revenue generating condominiums, townhouses and Olympic venues, the stench of Progressive-Left entitlement, along with the consequences its ideology brings, is infecting the rest of the state in a destructive way.

An aggressive “urbanization” of the once peaceful and amiable Chicago suburbs is causing a rise in problems traditionally found in urban areas: struggling schools, overcrowding, crime, traffic congestion, elevated costs of living, municipal budgetary woes, stagnant development, and ideological confrontation, complete with special interest influence from outside the community. Just as with the National Education Association’s encroachment upon local control of schools and their curriculums, the “urbanization” of the suburbs, collar counties and progressively (no pun intended) the rural areas of Illinois is facilitating a culture of urban morality; a society ruled by moral relativism, victimhood and the caretaker nanny state.

We here is Illinois understand the pitfalls of a one party, Progressive-Left, socialist system of government. In a state where the largest urban locale accepts as unavoidable the notion that dead men can vote, sometimes twice, the art of committing voter fraud and eliminating opposition candidates – sometimes of the same party – is handed down from generation to generation in a quest to maintain a stranglehold on power for “the machine.” From precinct captains, aldermen and community organizers to special interest activists, racially biased religious leaders and former Weather Underground terrorists, Illinois, because of the unyielding aggression of the Progressive-Left, has been transformed from a land where individual rights were guarded and constitutional liberty was valued at all costs – the Land of Lincoln – to the home of religious zealots like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Fr. Michael Pfleger and the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan and political opportunists like Jesse Jackson, Dick Durbin, Rod Blagojevich and Barack Obama. Conservatives are left with no voice on the national stage and small quarter in the state where we live.

This is just a limited glimpse into what it is like to live in a cobalt blue state; where Progressive-Left Democrats wield the tenets of socialism – including wealth redistribution and the limitation of constitutional rights – with impunity. Should the voters of America foolishly opt to discard liberty, opportunity and self-reliance in a self-centered quest for unearned wealth and a fraudulently engineered societal equality, we will come to rue the rhetoric of “hope and change,“ just as we will all soon be weeping for the freedoms we so imprudently cast aside.

Government must come before politics. The sanctity of the Constitution must trump political ideology. Country first.

In a bold move in front of members of the news media, Freedom Watch Chairman and Chief Legal Counsel Larry Klayman literally jumped out from behind a line of TV cameras and microphones on Friday, October 24, to serve a complaint on an OPEC oil minister.

The lawsuit filed on behalf of Klayman’s Freedom Watch in Southern District, Miami, Florida, charges OPEC with illegal price fixing, market division and collusion in having agreed to lower oil production worldwide by 1.5 million barrels a day, said Klayman, chairman and chief legal counsel.

Klayman said, ”The cartel’s strategy is designed to raise oil prices globally and ultimately the cost of gasoline at pumps across America at a most unpropitious time with a depression looming.”

The OPEC oil minister, Darlis Palacios Guerrero of Equador, was leaving the emergency meeting of OPEC ministers following their vote to cut production and was on his way to be interviewed by Bloomberg Television reporters when Klayman surprised him by handing him a copy of the complaint, which the minister graciously accepted.

“Being Latin, he was most cordial and apparently thought I was handing him a gift,” Klayman said.

“The gift I’m really hoping to give to OPEC ministers is a court injunction for perpetrating on the world a form of economic terrorism by their brazen use of oil as a weapon against our staggering economy,” he added.

Klayman, an attorney widely known for taking on powerful groups and individuals, including the administrations of Presidents Clinton and Bush on behalf of Judicial Watch, another public interest group he founded, was undeterred after having been thwarted earlier from serving the complaint on OPEC. On Thursday, he was ordered off OPEC property in Florida by an OPEC official flanked by security and police offers. The official refused to give his name.

“Leave our property,” the OPEC representative told Klayman sternly when he had tried to serve the complaint at OPEC headquarters here.

“That’s the way these people operate,” Klayman said, “They continually display an arrogant disregard for the law.

Last Wednesday, Klayman held a press conference outside the cartel’s quarters where he waved a gas pump nozzle at OPEC calling the nozzle a “smoking gun” that ties OPEC to the current financial disaster in the US Their artificial run-up in oil prices earlier this year set the stage for the economic problems we’re now having, he said.

“OPEC has bled billions out of our economy already and now wants to try to bleed us again, while our economy is so week and on the edge of collapse,” said the well-known public-interest lawyer.

“This is a great first step in revealing the collusion between the OPEC hierarchy and New-World Order politicians within the United States,” said political strategist Mike Baker.

“The liberals in congress — in both major political parties — are talking tough but in essence they are helping OPEC in its corrupt price-fixing. There’s even suspicion that OPEC representatives are illegally funnelling campaign contributions to American lawmakers,” warns Baker.

If the upcoming 2008 Presidential and Congressional Elections have the outcome that has been projected by the news media, the Democratic Party will control the Presidency, the House of Representatives, and the Senate. Also, there is a possibility that the Democrats would obtain at least 60 seats in the Senate. This would prevent any filibuster, a method used to keep a bill from coming to a Senate vote on a bill, from happening. Therefore, it would take a bipartisan effort to stop the passage of any bill that the Democrats wanted to become a law of the land, especially since President Obama would most likely not veto any law advocated by members of his own political party. However, will the Democratic Party be able to achieve a utopia in the United States through their policy of change? In fact, what possible consequences might have to be encountered by Americans the next four years as a result of the new Democratic policy of change?

The first change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the spreading of the wealth of America’s working people.  President Obama would make the “Robin Hood” ideology an integral part of his economic plan. He would take from the wealthy and give to the poor. In fact, if Karl Marx was alive he would be proud of President Obama.   Of course, the United States has been spreading the wealth for years in some of its welfare-type programs, such as payments to destitute, handicapped, unemployed, sick, and aged Americans. However, apparently some Americans actually believe that President Obama would take money from those who have and give it to those who do not have large amounts of money. Needless to say, it is obvious that a Democratically-controlled government will increase taxes on the filthy rich and, most likely, on the not so filthy rich, too. But, based on the bill that Senator Obama introduced in the Senate last spring, he would increase taxes to possibly fund his Global Poverty Tax. His goal for the introduction of this bill was to help people in other countries who are poverty-stricken. The bill requested over 800 billion dollars to be sent to third world countries to eliminate poverty. He would use the United Nations to spread this wealth all over the world. But, fortunately, Senator Obama’s bill never made it out of the committee. However, if it had passed, who would trust the United Nations to distribute money equitably? Would it be equitable to give so much money away to other nations when the United States is suffering economically itself? Also, was Senator Obama thinking of middle class Americans when he proposed his Global Poverty Tax?

The second change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the advancement of the gay rights’ agenda. This past spring 52 members of the House of Representatives formed a coalition of 50 Democrats and 2 Republicans who swore to promote the gay rights’ agenda in Congress. Since President Obama supports the gay rights’ agenda, could it be possible that more Congressmen might just jump aboard the bandwagon? But, it is ridiculous to think that America’s elected representatives would spend any of their time to promote an alternative sexual orientation when America is fighting on two war fronts and whose economy and energy programs are in shambles. Will President Obama and Congress finally pass a national “hate speech” and “hate crime” law that gives more punishment for harming a homosexual than an ordinary citizen? It would be a needless law since there are already several civil rights laws that were enacted in the 1960s. However, as a result of a totally Democratically-controlled Congress and a Democratic President of the United States, these new attempts to protect a group’s sexual orientation might just pass. Then, the freedoms given to all Americans in the First Amendment might just be stifled.

The third change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the demoralization of American troops in Iraq. If American troops come home without complete victory, those who gave their life in defense of their country would have done it in vain. Also, America must keep its reputation as having the greatest military force in the world. If U.S. forces come home without defeating America’s enemies, the future of the security of the United States could very well be jeopardized. This is the reason that the United States must win the war in Iraq and also in Afghanistan. But, if President Obama gives up too early on these wars and undermines the integrity of the greatest fighting machine in the world, he would be establishing a precedent for defeat in the current wars and in any combat battles in the future. Of course, there will be future wars that the United States will have to fight probably in the very near future. Therefore, a weak commander-in-chief will demoralize America’s troops and Americans in general.

The fourth change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the resurgence of the Democratic Party’s pro-abortion agenda in the United States. President Obama and his congressional colleagues would shore up any efforts to rid America of the blight caused by Roe v. Wade. But, the fact that taxpayers money would be used to pay for abortions for women who could not afford them is atrocious. How can a nation founded on the principles of the Bible continue to permit its leaders to promote such an abomination to God? Why should President Obama say “God Bless America” at the end of any speech that he would make? Of course, more importantly, what are the chances that President Obama would ever say “God Bless America” at the end of one of his speeches? But, it really does not matter if he does or not. God is not going to bless a nation that continually aborts (murders) unborn babies. In fact, according to Psalms 9:15, 17, and 19, the heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Arise, O Lord: let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. President Obama, please read the handwriting on the wall.

The fifth change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the government’s involvement in providing healthcare for all Americans. Everyone in America should have health insurance. Life is too risky to walk around without any healthcare coverage. However, does the United States government have the proper credentials to run a nationalistic healthcare program? According to the dictates of a market economy, it is the responsibility of individuals to purchase health insurance from a private health insurance company. But, in a command economy, the type government associated with communism and socialism, the government provides healthcare for its entire people. Is this the direction that Americans want their national government to follow in order to ensure that all Americans have appropriate healthcare? Do Americans really want their government to control every aspect of their life? Should the United States government have the right to pressure private insurance companies to meet its demands? Should the United States government have the power to force Americans to pay a fine to the government if they cannot afford health insurance for their children? It appears that freedom of choice has been eliminated as part of the way that Americans live their lives.

The sixth change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the placement of a person in the highest office of the land who has very little leadership experience. He has been a state senator in Illinois and presently he is in his first term as a United States Senator representing the state of Illinois. Since he has never been governor of a state or mayor of a town, Senator Obama has no major budgeting experience. He also has never served in the military. Therefore, Senator Obama does not have the credentials to be the chief administrator and commander-in-chief of the greatest democracy in the world. Would a person who has never taught school be hired as the school principal? Would a recruit in the Army be promoted to general? Would a recent graduate of a police academy be hired as the local police chief? Would a first-year medical student be given an internship at a major hospital? Would a file clerk be promoted to CEO of a large corporation? Of course, the answer to all these questions would be a resounding “NO.” Then, why are some people in the United States attempting to promote a freshman U.S. senator to the Office of the Presidency? It makes absolutely no sense at all!

The seventh change that would take place during an Obama administration would be the possible association of the President of the United States with people who have questionable characters and or negative reputations. There are three main people that Senator Obama has had associations with that, according to some people, are less than desirable. First, Jeremiah Wright was Senator Obama’s former pastor for over twenty years. During this time, Rev. Wright preached many anti-American messages. The fact that Senator Obama stayed at Rev. Wright’s church is a good indication that he does not have a good judgment of character, especially since Rev. Wright was attacking the integrity of the United States. Second, William Ayers, who is currently a college education professor at the University of Illinois in Chicago, admits to being involved with terrorist activities and bombing government buildings in the 1960s.  Supposedly, Mr. Ayers stated that he wished that he had been even more active that he was.  He was the founder of the Weathermen underground group.  In fact, according to Conservatopedia, Mr. Ayers and his wife would have been sentenced to time in prison in the 1980s if it was not for the illegal surveillance procedures used by the government.   Senator Obama and Mr. Ayers have worked on several committees together in the Chicago area. This also is an indication that Senator Obama permits himself to be aligned with people who do not promote the best interest of the United States. Third, Bill Clinton, who worked with Senator Obama’s presidential campaign team, was another person who, at least in the past, did not have a good character. In fact, it is amazing how quickly the American public have forgotten that he was impeached by the House of Representatives for sexual misconduct while he was in the Office of the Presidency (only the second President in the history of the United States). Therefore, it appears that Senator Obama has an ongoing problem of associating with people who do not have good characters and good reputations or unsavory people who dislike the United States. Who will he associate with while in the Office of the Presidency?

The eighth change that would take place during an Obama administration would possibly be the placement of a possible political Pied Piper in the highest governmental office in the nation. As most adults know, the Pied Piper made an agreement with the local mayor in a small German town to get rid of all the rats. He charmed the rats with the beautiful music from his bewitching pipe. The Pied Piper got the rats to follow him to the local river where they all drowned. But, when the mayor refused to pay the Pied Piper, he used his pipe to get the local school students to follow him away from the town. However, hopefully modern-day Americans do not recreate the story of the Pied Piper with a new political twist. During the past months, like the Pied Piper, Senator Barack Obama has rapidly become a viable part of America’s political scene.  He has charmed many Americans by using the eloquence of his words, not a musical pipe, to get fifty percent of the America’s population to support his bid for the Presidency of the United States. He has promised, like all Presidential candidates, anything and everything to win the majority of Americans over to his political side. Mainly, he has used the revamping of a sluggish economy, lower taxes for most Americans, and a new government-inspired healthcare program as his selling points.  However, where will America’s political Pied Piper lead the American people?  Will he lead America to the river of big government and big government spending?  What would America’s political Pied Piper do when he gets his first budget and realizes that he will not have a large enough budget to fund all his pet projects. Would he make his followers saddened if he signed into law the largest tax increase in the history of the United States?

In conclusion, on November 4, 2008, the Democratic Party could gain control of the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Presidency. If this does happen, President Obama would be able to get the Democratic Party’s liberal agenda approved rather rapidly. Of course, since liberalism is destroying the core of America’s value system, even darker days could be on the horizon for the nation that was founded on Biblical principles. Possibly, at some point in time, God might just say that “enough is enough.” Therefore, if America is to regain its dominance and prominence in the world, President Obama would need to use the teachings of the Bible as his political guide. Of course, since Senator Obama professes to be a Christian, he should not have any problem recanting his liberal value system which is contrary to the teachings of the Bible. But, since President Obama is presently one of the most liberal politicians in America, second only to Ted Kennedy, it might not be advisable to hold your breath! Hopefully, the people who vote for Senator Obama for President of the United States will not regret their decision.  Also, prayerfully, the people who did not vote for Senator Obama will not regret that he was elected to be the President of the United States.  God Bless America!
