State Workers Who IDed Illegal Aliens Face Criminal Charges

The Utah state employees, suspected of blowing the whistle on more than a thousand illegal immigrants living in the state, have been placed on administrative leave and will likely be criminally charged, according attorneys from a non-partisan, public-interest group.

Did Obama Lie to the Ladies on The View?

It appears that President Barack Obama got caught in another lie. No, not about the economy or health care or whether he knows former terrorist Bill Ayers. It’s a lie about an insignificant television show and one of its stars.

 
Asked about Jersey Shore star Snooki on The View, the President replied, “I don’t know who that is.”
 
But two months ago, her name was a punchline in a joke he himself told to members of the fawning news media. 
 

Biden: Intelligence Leaks Fault of Previous Administration

Vice President Joe Biden today acknowledged that some people in Pakistan’s intelligence community had supported the Taliban, but he said that situation is changing.

“That’s been a problem in the past, it’s a problem we’re dealing with, and [it] is changing,” Biden said in an interview that aired on NBC’s “Today” television show. The interview with Ann Curry was taped Wednesday while Biden visited Fort Drum, New York.

Arizona: Clinton Judge Rules Against Immigration Law

A President Bill Clinton appointed federal district court judge in Arizona today blocked what are considered the most important provisions of Arizona’s immigration law from taking effect.

The overall law may still take effect topmorrow, but without the provisions that required police officers to check a person’s immigration status while enforcing other laws.

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said he is “appalled” by the breach of security represented by the Wikileaks case.Navy Adm. Mike Mullen told reporters traveling with him that the leaks could put American servicemembers at risk. Investigators are still sifting through some 90,000 classified documents to determine the exact harm that the release could bring, he said.

Crime and violence related to drug trafficking in Mexico and Central America have increased in recent years and pose a threat not only to those areas but to the United States as well, particularly along the Southwest border.

The Merida Initiative, announced in 2007, provides about $1.6 billion in law enforcement support to Mexico and Central American countries. The U.S. Department of State manages the Initiative while other U.S. agencies play key roles in implementation.

Pakistan, Obama and Wiki-leaks

What does Obama know about Wiki-leaks info and when did he know it?

While sending his minions to Pakistan to offer more American taxpayers’ money, President Barak Obama was aware that the Pakistanis are aiding and abetting terrorists and insurgents fighting and killing American military personnel in Afghanistan.

Yesterday the Pentagon condemned the actions of the group Wikileaks.org for releasing thousands of classified U.S. military documents on its web site.

Wiki-Leaks Not First Time Security Compromised

What is commonly viewed as one of the worst intelligence leaks in warfighting history, the blogger at Wikileaks.org, Julian Assange, received more than 90,000 classified documents about U.S. actions in Afghanistan from someone believed to be either a military or intelligence source.

According to reports, Assange gave the documents to three newspapers and were published today. The documents include unreported civilian casualties and also claim that the Pakistani government is aiding the Taliban insurgency across its border.
